Maxine Sapulette amazed the world after three months recovering from an injury and only one week preparation – this is a great achievement. Yeah Maxine! “Im so happy i did not loose that title i already had.. I was still Worldchampion with only a 10 day preparation beofre the comp.. After 4 months not riding at all.. It was unbelievable. Very happy and cannot wait untill next year to defend it again!!  Dominik Gührs on the podium >> *Mr. World Champion 2011*The 21-year-old phenomenon from Germany, Dominik Guehrs, has accomplished the impossible. He has won the 2011 WWA Wake Park World Championships and the 2011 WWA Wake Park World Series overall championship; something that only American, Tom Fooshee, has previously achieved. Guehrs’ incredible triumph could not have happened in a more Cinderella fashion. Guehrs and fellow German, Freddy von Osten were tied just 15 points behind Fooshee coming into the 2011 WWA Wake Park World Championships hosted by Al Forsan International Sports Resort, December 7-10 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. “We have a changing of the guard.” States WWA President, Shannon Starling, “Each rider gave it 100%, and to see the young German win is something spectacular.” With our high-ranking Pro-Rider team we have our finger on the pulse of time and technology. There is hardly any championship in which a member of the Rixen team does not stand on the winners’ podium. This is our responsibility for this discipline but also for our customers, in order to give them an understanding of this sport and establish contact with top riders from all over the world.
